I really enjoy to make five different things in a day, including cobweb scarf, cuff, baby bootie, brooch and small hat. Especially, I love the baby bootie coz' it's cute. ^^
I can't wait for the next class......so excited!

I love wet felting!

I love wet felting! ^0^ I made my first wet felting pouch last Saturday. Well, my work was just ok. I need to practise more and more but I really enjoy the process. I tried to make another pouch today but there was a problem--my pouch was a bit coarse. I don't know why. >< I guess I put too much soap water on my wool. Therefore, I'll make a new one tomorrow. Wet felting is amazing! I can create many useful things for my family and friends. I can also mix with other medium to make unique works. YEAH! LOVE IT.....LOVE IT......LOVE IT!

新面孔

今日去了石硤尾山寨市集, 嘩, 好多嘢睇, 又有很多新面孔. 今次主辦單位把攤位分為上下兩層,這樣可以容納更多手作人, 真的不錯呀, 吸引了很多青年人 :>

手作人們好熱情,令我心中的一團火也燃燒起來. 慢慢地逛呀逛, 不禁想高聲叫道: 手作人萬歲!! 創意不斷, 我要多多學習啊.

Last Day of Book Fair!

我第一次行書展就選擇書展的最後一天, 幸好早上還不算人多, 逛得十分舒服, 又買到心水材料包. 下午時段, 人潮洶湧, 嘩! 非常擠迫 >< 大部份人都沒什麼禮貌, 即使把旅行喼輾過我的腳, 也不會說句對不起, 可悲..... 唉! 接著, 我也經過賣模寫真集的檔攤, 沒有驚喜, 太多人大驚小怪了. 論樣貌身材, 在外國街頭上隨意也找到一位標緻的可人兒, 香港人有時未免眼光太狹窄了. 怪不得出版商會賺錢, 加一丁點顏色淫意, 人們的幻想力便激增. 我認為家長們的反對是合理的, 一本寫真集的定位應如何需要再反思. 奈何有求必有供--矛盾.

Good Day!

Wow, the weather is still hot..hot...hot! I was exhausted yesterday because I went to four different markets, including Chez Art Weekend Market, Sau Wa Fong Creative Market, Amor Wedding Workshop and Wood Cotton Worshop. I met Violet and Tiana again. Their works are impressive and unique. I haven't gone to the markets for a while. I saw many new things at this time..hehe ;p It is hard for handcrafters to survive in HK today, not like in Taiwan and Japan. People in HK prefer brand name stuffs. What a pity! Please stop and see our works or at least respect to us. We are SUPER! YEAH! Oh, I'm going crazy........^0^

Beer Festival! 啤酒節

今日去了蘭桂坊啤酒節, 可能時間太早了, 不太熱閙啊! 我也沒有喝啤酒呢. 相信夜晚就會人山人海喇.

Chez Art 與我係手作人擺了兩個攤檔,哈哈, 我又發現了一位羊毛氈手作人, 原來是一位男性, 作品有狗仔和飾物, 幾好架. 回家後瀏覽了他的網誌, 又找到了新的寄賣點--Zakka Farm and HK ID Gallery. 各位喜歡羊毛氈的朋友, 不要錯過這兩處地方喇, 抽空去看看吧!

舒服晒!!

一號風球, 氣溫稍為下降, 感覺幾好. 加上跳完舞, 出身汗, 舒服晒. 現在充滿energy做嘢喇, 所以我堅持每日跳舞. 上星期看完阿部寬主演的Shin Zan Mono(新參者) , 對於劇情感到有些意外, 有點像美劇Lie to Me, Abe演譯刑警加賀恭一郎未到位, 少許失望>< 不要緊啦!! 作者東野圭吾用九個故事來揭開一件殺人案的迷團, 每個角色都有共通點---說謊.

Abe曾說謊言有三種: 一>為了保護自己; 二> 為了保護別人, 三>為了包疪別人的謊言
我有同感呀, 每日都會發生的事情, 其實幾恐怖呀! 要學似Abe般洞悉人心, 需請教Dr. Paul Ekman.想看這套劇, 一定要有耐性, 因為節奏偏慢啊! ^0^

炎炎夏日

天氣實在太熱了, 很辛苦, 不願出外. 但昨天仍要到深水埗和粉嶺買材料, 十分累呀. 加上整晚都不能入睡, 於是就左想想,右想想....發現之前所做的作品有很多遐疵, 做得不夠細緻, 手工亦麻麻, 所以今日決定重做那對結婚公仔, 希望把它們弄得漂亮點 :) 其實不滿意的作品仍有, 不過無需棄掉, 只要加點心思,多些元素,它們變回獨一無二的作品...嘻嘻.....努力!

下半年的目標是参與各個市集和開班教授喜歡羊毛氈的朋友. 如果有個香港手作人協會或是羊毛氈協會就好了, 期待期待!

悠長假期！

放了半個月假，總算充了電。一回來便打開面書，嘩，好多新消息，最喜歡當然是新的工作室﹣木棉花工作室，又多一個發揮手作之途徑。還多了兩三個市集添，真開心。

假期中，我看了兩套好的日劇，分別是緊急候命２和仁醫。前者比起第一輯更有人性，後者則描寫一位腦外科醫生如何跨越兩個時空去拯救生命。本身係日劇迷的我，特別喜歡看有關醫療為題材的連續劇，每項細節都會留神，如拍攝手法，人性描繪，場景佈置等。大家不防看看這兩套劇集啦！

現正為客人準備做一隻貓，要加倍努力啊喲！還有一連串工作要做，但我已經又想放假了，哈哈！

New Products are coming la. They were for the Sandymama market. However, I was sick at that time. Now, I let you guys see see my new things. Hope you will like them. I try to make a pig and dolls this time. What do you think? any comments?

學懂了！

由訂貨到交收只是短短數天的事情，今次特別為顧客趕貨，因為她想寄給海外的親友作為生日禮物。於是拼命戳呀戳呀，基於與相中狗仔發生感情時間太少，結果真的做得不好，不夠可愛，客人要求修改。我立即把它改頭換面，心裹什麼都不想了，好快便能完成到好作品了。心中仍忐忑不安，未見客人開心的樣子，總是欠缺些什麼似的。是否我欠缺自信呢？即使等到客人的來電預約見面交收，不安情緒更甚，好緊張啊！過了一整晚的煎熬，終於交收了，客人笑容滿面，很喜歡我的作品，我才鬆了一口氣。過程讓我學懂要如何處理不安的情緒，一定要對自己有信心，時間係重要，但質素更重要，心急沒有用的，專心以心比心，把客人所想與自己的能力完全發揮出來，這才是最重要呢！

Settle my challenge today!

I have already finished my customer's order. It's a new challenge for me. I did every part of the miniature schnauzer and tiny bear carefully. I can make shaggy n longer eye brows. The size is medium this time. Well, a bit difficult coz' I used to make miniature schnauzer in small size. Now, I need to re-measure the scale of facial expression. I do it finally and successfully, YES! In addition, it's my first time to make a bear. It looks cute I think. The most special thing is that I use a bone shape wooden mat for decoration part. There is "Happy Bears" wordings printed on which matching our theme-a puppy loves his toy and walks with it all the times. Anyway, I hope that my customer will like them when looking at the photos.

Miss the chance!

Sorry ladies and guys! Since I have been sick for several days, I can't show up the market at Sandymama Dot Com in these two days. What a pity! I was totally exhausted in these two days. I had headache, throat ache and fever. Ah.... miss the chance to see you guys and show my new products. Therefore, I need to wait for the next market but I don't know when. I'll post the update information here soon, also on facebook.

La Belle Epoque 老閭娘Billie曾經講過羊毛氈係一個潮流，我十分同意。去過不同的市集，都會發現羊毛氈存在，競爭大了，但仍是各有各做，有自己的定位。大部份把作人都比較喜歡做飾物，這個我真的不擅長，我仍醉心於我的動物世界。又有好多人問我會否開班教人，第一刻真的想嘗試，但很快打消念頭，因為對我來說太急進了，我希望根基紥實些才考慮。有朋友說這樣會比別人飲頭啖湯架，不過我仍是堅持。夏天快臨，淡季亦到，相反是我磨練手藝的好時機喇，凡事循序漸進，效果會更佳。要相信自己，加強自己的實力。這是我目前的目標！

Comfortable short short trip!

Yo! I went to Cheung Chau with my mother today.Wow, there were many people;therefore it was so crowded. We walked around and we bought fake flowers and key rings which are cute :) We also bought persevered fish-Miu Heung. Yummy! The happiest thing was that we went to a beach and saw several kids playing with water. They were funny. I want to play too! We stayed there about half an hour due to cool breeze. It was very comfortable. When we walked back to the pier, my mother bought two huge fish balls only for seven dollars. I didn't taste them but my mother said they were quite tasty. Actually, it was a romantic trip today hahaha ^0^ but a bit tired. I hope I can sleep well tonight. YEAH!

I went to Sanydmama dot com market yesterday. The place is a little bit small but quite comfortable. I'll attend the next round market on 13 &14 from 12-8pm there. 日本交流！

剛收到好消息，朋友的姐姐遊日本的市集藝墟，見到有羊毛氈的檔位，特登買了個送給我，很想快些見到它。但是最想是親身到日本一遊，與當地羊毛氈手藝定互相交流一吓，一定會學到嘢。現在努力儲錢中，希望今年年底去到。好心急呀！

真的很快啊喲！

今天用了La Belle Epoque的台灣羊毛，嘩，真的氈化得很快，減少針戳的頻度，省回不少氣力，至於效果亦不錯呢！蠻開心的。

新亞夜投攤有點吸引喎！

剛收到電郵有關中大新亞夜投攤事宜，實在有點吸引！日期是三月二十五號（星期四）晚上七點半至十一點半，地點：新亞小百萬、新亞圓形廣場、林耀明夫人堂及停車場（雨程另改地點）。可以讓多些學生認識本地藝術文化，是一個好的渠道。還有以下的市集可以選擇：

The temperature is only 7.7 today. Wow, it's rainy and cold but I like it. I feel happy to have lunch with my friend in this afternoon. He gives me a lot of valuable opinions such as posting more photos on my blog and making a price list. I'll do it. Thanks a lot!! ^u^

四本好書！

兩個月內，買了四本好書，　包括：第一次學做羊毛氈，巧手學做羊毛氈，Designer Needle Felting, 池口紗代的羊毛小物。每本都有特點，能給予我很大的想像空間，很多古怪念頭 ^3^　除了看相關書籍，我還會看其他手作書籍如刺繡，雜貨，布藝等，這樣更能吸取更多新點子，套用於我的羊毛氈作品上。真的很喜歡看書，若能與有幾緣人互相分享，那麼就太幸福了！我會密切留意任何新書出版，再介紹給各位。如果大家有好書推介，歡迎歡迎呀。

多謝好友意見！

與好友看完七十二家租客，之後去了肯德基吃飯，邊討論我家品牌的事宜。實在太感激好友的意見，當中提及要分二條主打線：一是可愛，二是神似，這樣可以吸引不同年齡的客人，我也十分贊成。其實做貓狗要神似難度極高，是磨練自己技術的時候了，我需要多點正能量來完成每件精心細繳的作品，我要變成羊兒氈達人。YEAH!! ^0^　希望大家多多支持呀！

新年大計！

新年第一件要改進的事情是電話繩扣之緊實度，以防止鬆脫，相信用針線手縫會好些。其次是貨品的種纇要較多元化，讓客人有多些選擇，能感受到羊毛氈的溫暖：）
過年沒有什麼節目，只是留在家照料小狗，沒有新的手作品出爐，不停重覆思考自己對於手作事業的路如何走下去，希望有新的點子，現仍處於起步階段，仍需繼續努力奮鬥下去，這是我今年的目標。

年三十做羊仔！

今日是年三十，突然好想做一隻羊仔，於是立即行動。用了卷曲羊毛，嘩！效果真的不同，仿如真的一樣，很開心啊！
過年喇，不如做套十二生肖啦，大家有什麼意見呢？

俄羅斯娃娃與香包！

今天做了一個俄羅斯娃娃，用了不同的方法，先把身體連接才針戳輪廓，這樣做法不是太好，因為難於針戳出頭巾部份，好像未被包好的感覺。下次先把面部表情和頭巾針戳好，看落會更自然一點。
跟住又於香包上針戳兩個紅心，再縫上了La Belle Epoque的字母lace，感覺很清雅，希望朋友會喜歡這個設計簡單的禮物^0^　接著會嘗試花朵圖案，希望令平平無奇的香包添點生氣。

羊毛氈手藝

羊毛氈是一種傳統手藝，早於日本，台灣及德國等地流行，有「療癒系的手作」的稱號。羊毛質感溫暖細緻，加以針戳或濕氈的方法，便可創造一些獨一無二的作品。羊毛手藝易學難精，特別是製作人物和動物，其面部表情、身體形態要掌握得好，必先得知各類羊毛之特性，加以配搭，才能做出栩栩如生的作品。至於掌握適當的羊毛分量可從經驗累積下來，利用自己的想像空間，多發揮創意、堅持原創才是最重要的。

重新定位

今日去La Belle Epoque買字母lace，與老闆娘談了一會兒，獲益良多。得了老闆娘提點，發現自己有很多不足之處，要重新定位。首先建立網誌為自己宣傳，與各纇手作人互相認識，交流心得。接著是自我品牌的羊毛氈公仔之突顯性，每天都嘗試不同的做法和不同物料的配搭，現仍處於摸索階段，希望盡快給大家換然一身的感覺。請大家密切留意喇！
